This is a brand new compatible type 2 cable and socket that is suitable for type 2 variations of the following models:

• GHD 4.2B
• GHD 4.2P
• GHD SS4.0
• GHD MS4.0

It comes fitted with a moulded New Zealand / Australian plug. We supply the cable with a replacement socket as the original cable sockets have a common problem where the spring connection pins make a bad contact, causing an intermittent connection. Therefore we recommend replacing the socket as well as the cable.
